Description

Longhill Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of coursed rubble, with freestone dressings, a coped verge to the roof, and slate covering. It has a symmetrical three-storey, three-bay front with sash windows featuring glazing bars, set within plain stone architraves. A central architrave frames the door opening, which now has a half-glazed door beneath a pediment. Attached to either side are two-storey, two-bay Gothick wings, with casements in pointed-head openings. A pointed-head door opening with a plank door is centrally located in the right wing. The left wing has later inserted openings and a blocked window.
