Description

A row of three cottages, likely dating from the early 18th century, is situated on the north side of Woolston Road, North Cadbury. They were originally constructed from local stone, roughly squared and coursed, with parts of numbers 5 and 6 later rendered. The cottages have thatched roofs with plain gables and brick chimney stacks, with those shared by numbers 4 and 5 being rendered. The arrangement is two storeys with an irregular pattern of windows. Number 4, the right-hand cottage, has horizontal bar casement windows, with 2 and 3-light windows above and a 3-light window below, and a door to the left. Number 5 has a 3-light small-pane casement with a door to the right, and two 2-light casements above. Number 6 features a 2-light horizontal bar casement on each level, with a door to the right. Exposed timber lintels are visible above all ground floor openings. The east gable of number 4 has been rendered. Outshuts are present at the rear. The interiors have not been inspected.
