Description

Cross Farm comprises two houses dating from the late 18th century. The houses are built with painted render over cob and rubblestone, featuring a double-pitched tarred slate roof and brick stacks to the gable ends and party wall of the front range. The rear range is lower and likely dates to the 19th century. The houses are two storeys, each with a two-window range. They have 19th-century metal three-light casement windows with leaded lights. Number 1, on the right-hand side, has a planked and studded door centrally placed beneath a hood supported by shaped brackets, with a blind window situated above the door. Number 2, on the left, possesses a similar hood over a door positioned to the right. The lower, rear range features a tall brick stack to the left gable end. The interiors are reported to have been altered.
