Description
The former coach house, now converted into two flats, dates from around 1810. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with some ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof. The building has ashlar end pilasters and a pilaster between each bay, creating a symmetrical appearance. It stands two storeys high with three bays. The first floor has three oval windows with plain stone surrounds, each featuring decorative glazing bars that form lozenge-shaped lights. On the ground floor, there are two semi-circular headed windows in plain surrounds with prominent key stones, fitted with casements. A plain stone band runs along the first floor level. The ground floor also includes a broad segmental headed door opening with a plain stone surround and a central keystone, leading to paired plank doors. To the left side of the frontage, an ashlar wall rises to 3 metres high and extends 12 metres at a right angle, topped with dressed coping. There are also a pair of tall square ashlar gate piers with plain caps.
