Description
The buildings around the foldyard northwest of Walcombe's Farmhouse consist of a linhay and a threshing barn, dating from the 18th century and altered in the 19th century. The linhay is connected to the south end of the farmhouse by a single-bay addition and features a hipped thatched roof on the right. It is constructed from red sandstone random rubble and has four bays with round piers that are partially obscured by weatherboarding. The addition to the farmhouse has a double Roman tiled roof. The threshing barn, located to the northeast, is also made of red sandstone random rubble, which is partially rendered, and has a slate roof. It consists of three bays and includes a central double door with an addition to the northeast. The farmhouse is situated on the southeast side of the foldyard.
