Description

The Old Court House is a 17th-century house located on East Street in Drayton. It features coursed and squared rubble with freestone dressings, a double-Roman tile roof, coped verges, and three brick stacks. The building has a through-passage plan and stands two storeys high with four bays. It includes three and four-light moulded stone-mullioned windows with iron casements and leaded lights, along with continuous strings above the window heads. The door opening is situated in the second bay, featuring a studded plank door set in a moulded surround, with a label rising over the door opening. The interior is noted to be of interest.
