Description

Nos 79 to 82 on Rockwell Green is a two-storey cottage block that is positioned at right angles to the street, with a path leading into Northside. It likely dates from the 17th to early 18th century and has undergone some later alterations. The building features whitewashed rubble and brick fronts, topped with a slate roof that is half-hipped at the road end and covered with bitumen. There are six windows, mostly consisting of two-light wood casements with cambered brick heads. To the right, there is a doorway with an ogee-shaped trellis above it. Additionally, there is a small shop window on the gable end of No 81. Nos 79 and 80 are located in Northside.
