Description
No. 15 Silver Street is a mid-19th century house that has been converted into a shop. The building features a facade made of Ham Hill stone ashlar, while the rest is constructed from limestone rubble, topped with a slate roof. It has a double-depth plan and stands two stories high with a four-window range.
On the first floor, there are large 8/8-pane sash windows situated beneath an eaves cornice. The ground floor includes a door located slightly to the left, which has two rows of three vertical panels and is topped by an overlight with margin panes. This door is framed by a moulded architrave with consoles that support a cornice. To the left of the door, there is a ground-floor window with 8/1 panes, while the two windows to the right are made of plate glass.
Inside, the inner door leading to the hall features margin panes, and the room to the front right has a mid-19th century cornice.
