Description

The Vintage Public House is a three-storey building located on Fore Street, dating from the 18th century. It features a painted brick front, which likely covers an earlier structure. The building has a moulded gutter cornice and a slate roof, with a red brick chimney stack positioned towards the center of the roof and a second chimney located at the rear.

There are two window spaces at the front, with small sash windows on the second floor and larger sashes with thick glazing bars on the first floor. The public house has a double 19th-century bar frontage that includes an overall fascia and panelled pilasters. To the right, there is a six-panel door leading to No 24.

The Vintage Public House, along with Nos 18, 20, and 24, forms a group of buildings of architectural interest.
