Description
The Manor House is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from local stone in a random coursed pattern, with Ham stone dressings. The roof is covered with Welsh slates and features coped gables, along with brick chimney stacks at each end. The house has two storeys and five bays. The central entrance consists of a six-fielded panel door set within a shouldered architrave, topped with a pediment. There are large paned sash windows with margins in simple key-stoned architraves, and the right-hand upper windows have inserted fanlights. At the rear, there is a large lean-to extension made of brick and stone, which includes two three-light ovolo mullioned windows with labels at ground floor level. Additionally, there is a modern single-storey extension on the south side. It is important to note that this house should not be confused with the Elizabethan Manor House, which was the home of the Feaver family until around 1900 and has since been demolished; that house was located southwest of the church, near the site of West Camel House.
