Description

This is a short terrace of six buildings, originally known as St James’s Place, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of dark brick with a continuous roof of old tiles. Each property has three storeys and provides fourteen windows in total, with mostly two windows per property. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. There are six round-headed doorcases, each featuring a keystone and impost block. Most of the doors are six-panel doors, although number 1 has a larger door alongside a garage opening. The listed buildings contribute positively to the appearance of the area, forming a good group with numbers 15 Canon Street.
