Description
The postal wall box at Drake's Farmhouse was created between 1861 and 1871 by Smith and Hawkes of Birmingham for the Post Office. It is made of painted cast iron and is set into the wall of Drake's Farmhouse. This wall box is one of the earliest examples of its kind, which is why it has been listed for its historic interest.
