Description
The threshing barn and attached outbuilding, located to the north of Street House Farmhouse, was built in 1768, likely by John Carr for the Earl of Holderness. The structure is made of brick and features a pantile roof. It consists of five bays and stands two stories high, with a lower two-bay outbuilding to the east. The barn has a large central round-arched wagon opening, which is framed by brick voussoirs and an impost band. On either side of this opening, there are two brick ventilation slits. The eaves are dentilled, and the roof is hipped. The outbuilding has advanced double carriage doors on the right and a blind round opening on the left, with a continuous band at the central level of this opening. This building is included for its group value.
