Description

Bowbridge is a bridge from the early 19th century, constructed of ashlar stone. It features a single semicircular arch with voussoirs, a band, and a parapet that has flat copings. The side walls are notably splayed at each end, and there are square end piers. It is important to note that half of the bridge is located in the parish of Hackforth.
