Description
The barn and granary located to the south of Street House Farmhouse were built in 1768, likely by the architect John Carr for the Earl of Holderness. This two-storey structure is made of brick and features a Welsh slate roof. It has three bays and a plinth.
On the left-hand bay, there are two inserted board stable doors with overlights, while the right-hand bay contains a board waggon door. The central bay has a blind round-arched opening with a continuous impost band, and remnants of original round-arched openings can be seen above the doors in the outer bays.
On the first floor, stone steps lead up to a board door on the right return. The central blind recess is flanked by outer bays that have 6-pane casements, all of which are topped with flat brick arches. The building features dentilled eaves and a hipped roof. It is included in the listing for its group value.
