4/16 Table tomb approximately 3 metres east of the south porch of the Church of St Thomas a Becket

GV II

Table tomb. Dated 1702 and 1719. Gritstone. A large solid slab with cyma- moulded edges supported by 6 solid pillars; each pillar square in section with cyma-moulded foot and cap and a projecting central band. The inscription very weathered: "In Hopes of A glorious / Resurrection / 1702 ... / ... 1719". The remainder not legible at time of resurvey.
