Description

Watergate Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, although it has earlier origins. It is constructed of limestone rubble laid in courses and features a pantile roof. The building has a central entrance, with an earlier service wing to the left and a cross wing at the rear. It stands two storeys high, with two windows on the first floor of the main house and one on the lower service wing. The entrance consists of a four-panel door flanked by three-light casements, and there is a boarded door with casements to the left leading to the service wing. On the first floor, the main house has casements, while the service wing features a two-light Yorkshire sash window. The main house has gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks, while the service wing has a steeply-pitched swept roof and a left end stack.
