Description
West End Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century. It’s constructed from limestone rubble with a pantile roof. The building follows a two-cell, hearth-passage entry plan. It is two storeys high with two windows on the first floor. A 20th-century door with an overlight sits centrally, flanked by sixteen-pane sash windows. To the right is a board door with a divided overlight. The first floor has matching sixteen-pane sash windows. Stone lintels are present above all openings. The eaves are sprocketed, and there are stacks on the left end and the ridge. The building is included in the list for group value considerations.
