Description

Ash Ling is a house consisting of two sections, built in the early 19th century with improvements made in the mid-19th century, as indicated by a datestone from 1860. The building is constructed of limestone rubble laid to course and features a pantile roof. It has a hallway entry and stands two storeys tall with three windows on the first floor. On the left side, there is a four-panel door beneath a divided overlight, flanked by two-light Yorkshire sash windows. These are separated by a straight joint from a boarded door and another two-light Yorkshire sash window on the right. The windows have stone lintels. On the first floor, there are two-light Yorkshire sash windows. The house has end and ridge stacks and is included for its group value context.
