Description
Wishing Well Restaurant, formerly known as Osgodby Hall, is a restaurant dating from the late 18th century, with earlier origins. It features a 19th-century extension and 20th-century alterations. The building is rendered and has a pantile roof with brick stacks. It is two stories high and has a six-window front. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight to the center left, flanked by 12-pane sash windows. To the center right, there is a 20th-century half-glazed door with a canopy, flanked by 20th-century bow windows in altered openings. The first-floor windows are also 12-pane sashes, with all original openings featuring keyblocks. The windows have stone sills and 20th-century shutters. The building has a raised eaves band and a hipped roof, with stacks at the end left and left of center.
