Description
The Harewood Arms Inn is an inn, partly converted into a shop, dating from the mid-18th century, with later alterations. It features painted brick in Flemish bond and a 20th-century pantile roof. The building has three storeys and four bays. In the third bay, there is a segmental-arched carriage entrance, while the fourth bay contains a 20th-century shop front. The first two bays have canted bay windows, with the second bay also serving as the inn's entrance. On the first floor, the first three bays feature 4-pane sash windows with flush exposed sash boxes, projecting ashlar sills, and flat arches, while the fourth bay has a canted bay window. The second floor has smaller 4-pane sash windows with similar detailing. The building is adorned with a dogtooth eaves band, a shaped kneeler to the right, and ashlar coping. There are brick stacks at the ends and between the third and fourth bays.
