Description

No. 184 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, which was empty at the time of the survey. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and is constructed of brown brick in Flemish bond with a pantile roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has one bay.

On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century shop front to the left and a passage entrance to the right. The first floor features a sash window with glazing bars, an exposed flush sash box, an ashlar sill, and a flat arch above. The second floor has a smaller, half-size 6-pane sash window with an exposed flush sash box and an ashlar sill. The building is finished with dentil eaves.
