Description
Manor Farmhouse, barn, and byre is a house with an attached barn and byre, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with a pantile roof and features brick and stone stacks. The building has a 2-cell through-passage plan, with a rear cross wing and outshut. The house is two storeys tall and has two first floor windows. The entrance is a 20th-century half-glazed door, flanked by two 3-light Yorkshire sash windows. On the first floor, there is a 3-light Yorkshire sash window to the left and a 4-light Yorkshire sash window to the right. Wooden lintels are present throughout the structure, and the gable coping features shaped kneelers, with a drop in the roof line to the left of the door. There are end stacks on the house. The barn is two storeys high, with an 8-pane fixed window flanked by two ventilation slits. On the first floor of the barn, there is one half-glazed, half-slatted window. The byre is a single storey and has three ventilation slits.
