Description

The garden wall, gate, and gate piers located approximately 80 metres south of Scampston Hall date from the early 19th century. The gate piers are made of rusticated sandstone and sandstone ashlar, featuring rebated square bands of rustication, moulded cornices, and ball-and-pedestal finials. The wrought-iron gate has scrolled ironwork. The garden wall is about 1.1 metres high and has moulded coping.
