Description

This is a row of six houses, numbered 23 to 29, built in the late 18th century. They are of brick construction, with a parapet and cornice along the top. Number 23 has two dormers added later, while numbers 25 and 27 each have one dormer. Each house has two windows, with moulded wooden window frames and elliptical arched reveals. Windows at numbers 25 and 27 retain their original glazing bars. Doorways at numbers 25 and 27 are topped with elliptical arches and have modern doors, along with four-panel doors. Number 23 has a door consisting of four panels, and number 29 has a door consisting of six panels. Numbers 27 and 29 include basements. Numbers 23 to 37, together with outbuildings at number 37, form a notable group.
