Description
This is an 18th-century barn located approximately 20 metres south of Tatefield Hall. It is constructed of squared gritstone and features a stone slate roof. The barn has quoins and central double doors set under a flat arch made of voussoirs. There are vents on each side of the barn. The roof has ashlar coping with shaped kneelers and ball finials. An elaborate wrought-iron weather vane is positioned on the ridge to the left. There is a lean-to addition on the left side, which is not considered of special interest. Inside, the roof timbers were replaced around 1950.
