Description
Wyville Hall and Wyville Cottage are a house, originally built in the 17th century and now divided into two separate dwellings. The building is constructed from limestone rubble, laid in courses, and has a French tile roof. It was originally designed with a three-cell, through-passage plan. The house has two storeys and five windows on the first floor. On the left side of the building, there is a half-glazed door with a casement window to its left side, and a three-light Yorkshire sash window to its right. The right side features a six-panel door with a fire window to its left and a casement window to its right. The first floor has casement windows, with the exception of a central three-light Yorkshire sash window. The roof is steeply pitched, and there are end and ridge stacks. Inside, the only surviving original feature is a chamfered cross beam that has been repositioned as a bressumer. The main stack has been removed.
