Description

Wheatlands Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone and features a pantile roof. The building has a two-cell direct-entry plan with a cross wing at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has two first-floor windows. The farmhouse has a plinth and an off-centre four-panel door. Throughout the property, there are 16-pane sash windows with flat stone arches on the ground floor. The gable coping is complemented by shaped kneelers and end stacks. Inside, there is a bressumer beam in the kitchen.
