Description
This former boat-shed and dye house, attached to the north side of No 19, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of limestone with a rendered finish and has a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three first-floor windows and one loading door. The ground floor has double doors in the center, a blocked window to the right, and a blocked door at the far right. On the first floor, there are three square windows; the central window has a keyed lintel and is blocked, while the others are 4-pane sash windows. To the far right, there is a segmental-arched loading door. Historical documents from the 17th and 18th centuries possibly refer to this building as the old dye house. By the late 19th century, it was used as a boat store. At the time of the resurvey, the building was in a derelict state. It is included for its group value.
