Description

Ye Olde Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century, with a restoration carried out in the 20th century. The building is rendered and has a 20th-century pantile roof. It has one storey and consists of three bays. There is a step up to a recessed four-panel door located in the first bay, which is framed by a doorcase with a plain cornice. To the left of the door is a large three-light window, while to the right is a smaller two-light window; both have 20th-century frames and leaded lights. There are also two square recesses on the far right, just above pavement level. A large square chimney stack is situated on the ridge opposite the doorway. The interior has not been inspected.
