Description

The boundary stone, located on the east side of the B6265 in Thorpe Underwoods, is a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of bordered picked sandstone and has a triangular shape, standing approximately 0.75 meters high. The upper face is sloped and features the letters "B S" deeply incised. This stone marks the boundary between the civil parishes of Thorpe Underwoods and Whixley. The road is incorrectly shown as Al167 on the Ordnance Survey map.
