Description
19 Hall Garth is a 18th-century house that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a pantile roof with coped gable ends and four brick stacks, not all of which are original. The building has rusticated quoins and four windows on the top storey, one of which is blocked, along with one casement and two modern windows. The first floor has four windows with slightly marked keystones, one of which is blocked, and features hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor includes two windows with hung sashes and glazing bars, both with lintels that have keystones, as well as two six-panel doors with rectangular fanlights. There is a passage entry and an ashlar plinth. This house is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 3, The Horse Shoe Public House, Nos 5 to 13, Ivyleigh, No 15, and Nos 16 to 22, with Nos 1 to 3, Nos 5, and 6 being of local interest.
