Description

The former school building, dated 1828, is a small structure located on Kirkham Lane. It is a single-storey building constructed of coursed stone with ashlar quoins. The roof is slate and features a conical chimney as well as a stone chimney. A stone eaves cornice adds to its architectural detail. The building has three windows, two of which are arched and include Gothic glazing bars. The central window has a lintel that displays the date. There are steps leading up to the door.
