Description

The Parish Hall, part of the Church of St Peter, was built in 1857 and originally served as a National School. It is constructed of coursed stone with a steep Welsh slate roof, featuring coped gable ends, a gabled bell turret, and two tall stone stacks. The building has two windows with three arched lights each, and two narrower lancet windows. External chimney stacks are also present. Below the bell cote are two similar windows with ogival arches and a carved, foliated panel. A doorway to the right is labelled 'Girls' and has a pointed door with ornamental hinges. To the left is a similar doorway labelled 'Boys', accessed by steps in an extension. The hall forms part of a group with numbers 24, 25, and 26 to 28, along with their outbuildings, which are noted for their local interest.
