Description

Grange House is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of limestone rubble, carefully laid in courses, and has a pantile roof. The original design comprised two main rooms with a continuous outshut to the rear. The house is single-storey with attics. The front elevation features a centrally positioned door enclosed beneath a keyed wedge lintel, flanked by two-light Yorkshire sash windows. The window to the left has a keyed wedge lintel, while the window to the right has a cement wedge lintel. There is evidence that window openings have been altered. Gabled dormers with casement windows light the attic space.
