Description

Rose Cottage and Laurel Cottage are a pair of houses built in the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. They are constructed from hammer-dressed limestone and have a pantile roof. Each house features cross wings at the rear. The buildings are two storeys high and have four first-floor windows, with the outer bays set back slightly. The outer bays have board doors and 2-light Yorkshire sash windows, while the central bays have sashes with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are also 2-light Yorkshire sashes. Timber lintels are present throughout the structure, and there are end and ridge stacks.
