Description
This building is a house and cottage located immediately south of Goodlands, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble that is brought to course, topped with a pantile roof. Both sections feature a lobby entry, with additional outshuts at the rear and gable end. The structure is two storeys high and has four bays.
On the left side, there is a half-glazed door beneath a divided overlight, flanked by flush 16-pane sash windows. On the right side, a board door is accompanied by a 16-pane sash window to the right. The first floor features 16-pane sashes, with a blocked opening in the third bay. Keyed stone lintels are present throughout the building, along with a stepped eaves course and stacks at both the ends and ridge.
