Description
Nos 1, 2, and 3 High Green is a terrace of three houses built in the early to mid-19th century. The houses are constructed from coursed, squared tooled sandstone and feature Welsh slate roofs with wood boarded eaves and stone chimneys. They are two storeys high and have a total of six windows. The original six-panel doors, now replaced, have overlights, with those of Nos 2 and 3 featuring margined designs in wood pilaster-and-entablature doorcases that include bracketed cornices. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and projecting cills, except for the early 20th-century square bay windows on the ground floor of Nos 1 and 2. There are also two modern square dormers in the roof, with stone coping on the left side, and three corniced ridge stacks. The terrace is included for its group value.
