Description

Scarcliffe Farmhouse is a farmhouse and barn, likely built in the mid-18th century, though it has undergone significant alterations. The structure features squared rubble walls and a recent stone slate roof. Its long facade includes five windows, a new segmental-headed doorway, and an altered cart entry. The windows are flush stone mullions, consisting of four and two lights, and there are quoins present. The building has one new chimney. Inside, the interior has been modified, but it retains some possibly intruded wooden beams that have Gothic lettering cut into them, along with cut timbers in the barn.
