Description

Ghyll Farmhouse and Ghyll Farm Cottage are a former farmhouse, dating from the late 17th or early 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The south front has two double-chamfered stone mullion windows on the ground floor, each retaining a hood mould. The window to the left is next to a later doorway, while the window to the right is missing its mullions. The first floor has one double-chamfered window, originally of two lights but now lacking its mullion. At the rear, facing the lane, is an outshut with two small chamfered openings. The building has gable chimneys. The interior was not fully accessible at the time of survey.
