Description

Low Moor Top Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1762, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays with a central doorway. The large unmoulded windows have sashes, originally designed with two lights on each side, although one light of each right-hand window is now blocked. The doorway is chamfered and has a stone slate hood above it. An incised plaque displaying the initials JW and the date is located over the doorway. The farmhouse also has two chimneys.
