A row of early 19th century cottages, comprising numbers 48 to 56 Bargate. Number 48 has a roughcast exterior and a new slate roof, with two brick stacks. It has two storeys and two windows with moulded frames, lacking glazing bars, and a modern door. Number 50 has a slate roof with two brick chimneys, two modern casement windows (one of three lights each), and a modern door within an architrave featuring a rusticated keystone. Number 52 has a stone slate roof, two storeys, and two hung sash windows with glazing bars, alongside a modern door with a rectangular fanlight. Number 54 features a Welsh slate roof, two storeys, two windows without glazing bars, and a modern door with a rectangular fanlight. Finally, number 56 has a modern pantile roof, two storeys, two windows without glazing bars, and a modern door with a rectangular fanlight.
