Description
The Cricket Pavilion at Giggleswick School was built around 1900 by T.G. Jackson. It features rubble construction with stone dressings and a Westmorland slate roof. The pavilion is a single storey with three bays and includes an open verandah supported by four pillars with octagonal shafts, which hold up three gables. The left-hand and central bays have French windows with segmental heads, consisting of four lights with timber mullions and transoms. A central leaded clock turret with an ogee roof and weather vane is also present. There is a round chimney stack located to the right of the centre. An early 20th-century lean-to extension is attached to the left side.
