Description

14 Pier Road is a building with origins dating back to the 18th century. It has two storeys, attics, and a basement, and is rendered with a pantile roof featuring a parapet and cornice. The structure includes two dormers and a window arrangement where two three-light windows flank a central single-light window, all with flat arches, wooden mullions, and some glazing bars, with a band continuing across the cills. On the ground floor, there are two bowed oriel windows with modern glazing consisting of ten lights. The basement has two three-light windows with glazing bars. Access to the building is via a flight of ten steps with an iron handrail leading to a modern door that features a rectangular fanlight, plain pilasters, and an entablature.
