17 and 18 The Cragg is a pair of 18th-century houses that stand two storeys tall. The exterior is rendered, and they feature a pantile roof with stone kneelers. There is a plinth at No 18. The front has a central passageway with three plain doors. Above, there are two semi-dormers with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars and moulded flush frames. On the ground floor, there is a new window, also a double-hung sash with glazing bars, accompanied by two smaller windows.
