Description
This milepost, located approximately 120 metres east of Riffa House, dates from the 19th century and is made of gritstone and cast iron. It has a triangular section with a rounded head. The inscriptions on the milepost include "Dudleyhill Killinghall and Harrogate Road" on the head, "Bradford 12 miles" on the left face, and "Harrogate 6½ miles" on the right face. The iron plate is secured to the stone support with two bolts through the head.
