Description

No. 60, Cold Bath Road is a lodging house, later converted into a house, dating from approximately 1800, with alterations made around 1860. It is constructed of dressed stone with ashlar dressings and has slate roofs with coped gables and kneelers. The property features two gable stacks and is three stories high. The symmetrical street facade has three windows. The central doorway has a four-panel door and a boarded fanlight, set within a round-headed ashlar surround with moulded keystone and plain pilaster jambs. Above the doorway is a single four-pane sash window. Flanking the doorway are two-story canted bay windows with flat leaded roofs. Above these bays are three further four-pane sash windows. Originally, this building served as the lodging house for the Cold Bath located at the rear.
