Description
The White Hart Hotel, built around 1846, is a three-storey building featuring dormers and eleven windows. It has a slated hipped roof and a facade made of grit stone ashlar, which includes a cornice and blocking course, as well as sill strings. The windows are recessed sash types, with round-arched windows on the ground floor that have archivolts and are connected by impost bands. The entrance features an Ionic doorcase with coupled columns topped by a figure of a hart, leading to a round-arched doorway that includes pilasters, an archivolt, a fanlight, and a half-glazed double door. The interior has been altered due to later rear extensions.
