Description

The White Cottage is a building dating from around 1822, originally serving as the ticket office for the Crown Public Baths, which later became known as the Montpellier Baths. It is an octagonal, single-storey pavilion topped with a slated pyramidical roof. The exterior is constructed from grit stone ashlar, featuring a projecting cornice and a Greek fret frieze just below it. There is a plinth at the base, and the building has a modern door along with sash windows on each side. The White Cottage is part of a group with Nos 14 to 30 (consecutive) Montpellier Parade.
