Description

The Church of St Mary, built around 1916 by Walter Tapper, is designed in a 14th-century style. It features a four-bay nave with aisles and a two-bay chancel that includes side chapels. The church has transepts and a square central tower. Notable architectural elements include three-light trefoil clerestory windows and a five-light traceried window in the chancel. The roof is tiled, and the building is constructed from Bath stone. The porch has a coped gable and a plain arched entrance, which is adorned with a hood mould featuring ball flowers.
